Enrollment Process

  • All are welcome to observe any class at any time.
  • Prospective students are welcome to participate in a class at no obligation (signed waiver required).
  • Wear loose fitting clothing (sweats & t-shirt). We do have some dojo loaner gi's available, however if we are out or do not have one your size you will still be able to train.

  • Only do what is appropriate. Shidokan believes in a cooperative learning environment and understands that everyone may not be able to do everything that is practiced, nor may they be willing. Shidokan is not only a dojo, but also a school, and all Shidokan instructors are here to educate not impose.

 


Note: 'Monthly Dues will not be adjusted for observance of holidays. Continuous monthly enrollment must be
maintained and all 'Dues' paid on time to avoid 'Late Charges', disenrollment and 'Re-Enrollment Fees'.

This class is offered in addition to the general Aikido classes, and is restricted to all those New to Aikido and have not yet achieved rank. This class is intended to be in addition to the general class schedule, and offer the new student the opportunity to ask questions and get answers on proper dojo etiquette & protocol, learn terminology used in the art, take the time to break down basic movement (footwork, falling & rolling etc.) and much more. All new students are encouraged, not obligated, to attend this class. Everyone is an asset to the dojo and each persons training...regardless of skill level. We want all students to feel as though they are bringing something to the table, not taking away from another persons progress.

Aikido Registration Fee Includes: a white or natural
singleweave Judogi, and enrollment into our affiliated
organization for testing and rank, ASU
(Aikido Schools of Ueshiba)


(All Aikido Gi's must be white or natural in color,
serviceable, and free of patches & embroidery other than
that designated. Hakama must be black or blue and are
not required, but recommended)


All Shidokan Students are enrolled on EFT
(Electronic Funds Transfer)
*Cash is only accepted on a case by case basis
